Infinix Launches Infinix Zero 2 In The Kenyan Market

This move comes in the wake of a successful launch of the revolutionary Infinix Hot Not (X551) which continues to gain popularity among users owing to its long – lasting battery.

The new device is designed to meet both the social and productivity needs with its trendy style and functionality therefore targeting young entrepreneurs, professionals and students. Besides satisfying this segment of the market, Infinix is looking to grow its presence in the Kenyan Market with the economy friendly devices.

Infinix Mobility Head of Marketing Mr. Peter Zhou remarking on the launch said the company is committed to providing affordable devices through the factory-to-consumer model, which reduces channel costs hence making the devices more affordable than most competing brands.

“Putting a quality smartphone in the hands of every deserving user is our key motivation. Through the factory-to-consumer model, we are powerfully improving lives by providing devices that enhance productivity,” said Mr. Zhou.

Infinix Zero 2 specs

The device has Super Amoled HD screen making picture and video appearance high-tech in terms of clarity. The 5.0” screen comes with a Corning gorilla glass 3 with 0.55mm thickness protecting it from petty breakage also the feature enhances touch screen fluidity.

The sleek device is also designed with a Kevlar back cover that is ultra-strong, light, flexible, 5 times stronger (yet lighter) than steel. The net weight in hand is approximately 118g making it a beautifully packaged companion in the same breathe giving it a perfect feel in the palm of your hand.

Zero 2 comes with 2GB RAM and Octa Core 2.0 GHz processor.Other features of the phone include a 13MP rear camera and 5 MPfront camera with 85 degree wider angle and F 2.0 aperture which admits more light into the sensor to make for sharp and bright pictures.

The X509 will be available at the start through e-commerce website http://www.jumia.co.ke/beginning July 13 2015 and will retail at an introductory price of Ksh19, 999.
