The Safaricom Stawish Na M-Shwari promotion which has been running since mid-April has come to an end with the winner being 24 year old Leonard Kiplangat. Leonard, a 4th year B.Sc student at Moi University gets to walk away with a cool Kshs.5 Million.
Total winnings in the promotion stands at Kshs.76.9 Million, among 4,406 winners. 6 M-Shwari users won Kshs. 1 Million each. The winners for the 1M are Francis Sebulei, Diana Kathambi, Benjamin Wafula, Evans Ochieng, Sheila O and Wanyingi W.
M-Shari has also been a winner of sorts, with the promotion having resulted in a 32% increase in savings in the last 6 weeks. M-Shwari users have grown to 14.8 Million and total deposits now stand at Kshs.10.3 Billion.
