For yet another year, Tetra Pak East Africa is proudly serving as the official hydration partner at the Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon, Kenya’s only World Athletics Road Race Label-certified marathon, which is slated for Sunday, October 26, 2025.
This year’s edition has drawn more than 30,000 runners, including more than 200 elite athletes and international participants, and Tetra Pak is right there on the track, providing Sh7 million worth of free water, packaged responsibly in line with its sustainability vision.

We’re proud to hydrate participants while showing that eco-conscious choices can power world-class events.”
Founded in 2003, the Nairobi Marathon has grown into one of Africa’s most iconic road races, bringing together participants from 92 countries and supported by 43 sponsors.
Standard Chartered’s contribution of US$1 million, alongside KES 103 million in sponsorship support, highlights the scale of collaboration behind the event.
But Tetra Pak’s involvement goes far beyond sponsorship, with more than 10 employees from Tetra Pak East Africa registering for the race, embodying the company’s commitment to wellness and community engagement.
