After using the Samsung Galaxy A56 for quite some time now, I’ve recently received the Samsung Galaxy S25 and moving feels like a natural step towards higher performance and deeper AI features, and I love it here.
I will be doing a more comprehensive review of the device as well as Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 and Samsung Buds Core but in the meantime, here are my quick first impressions of the S25 FE.

The S25 FE is a flagship device that offers premium featuers for users who would want the S25, but for some reason or other mostly due to budget constraints cannot have it. It still comes with the awesomeness of S25 with high capabilties for productivity, media and security.
Like many other users out there, I’m a sucker for looks and I’m in love with the S25 FE build and overall design. My unit came in a soft white back with a silver aluminium frame and a clean layout with only the triple camera cluster on the top left. I love this simplicity since it gives an air of class to the device, and this minimalistic exterior covers high permance. The phone also feels balanced in the hand and the colour blends easily with everything around me.

With a resolution of 1080 x 2340, Samsung S25 CE delivers vibrant and true to colour content for images, videos and daily even tasks, making it pleasant to use. The clarity suits long streaming sessions, work apps, photography and editing, and the many more features that the device comes with, with no strain to the eyes.
I have since taken to recording podcasts on phone since I started using the Samsung Galaxy A56 and I can’t wait to do the same with the S25 FE. My videos are clear and one would not guess that they are shot on phone.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE runs on Android 16 with One UI 8, powerful features that supports stronger performance, improved customization and better protection of personal data. Use of the device is clean and responsive, and the settings are laid out in a way that helps you move through tasks faster. Overall the device is very fast and as mentioned earlier, pleasant to use. With the Exynos 2400 processor, 256GB storage and 8GB RAM, it is evident that Samsung has taken care of performance to the last consideration.
If you have ever worked on a slow device with lagging apps, you will appreciate how fast apps on here open and how easy and smooth multitasking feels even when doing heavy work. The device stays steady in long sessions of recording or content creation, and that reliability matters when you have work that runs throughout the day.

The camera is always my favourite part of any Samsung device and with the S25 FE, we have 50MP triple rear setup and a 12 MP selfie camera. In a demostration of how far phones have come, the rear camera will record video in 8K while the selfie camera will do 4K. This range strikes home for me as a content creator since I need quality videos and photos for my platforms, and enough storage to host them. The quality suits social media uploads without much editing, and the front camera works well for interviews, check-ins or on-the-go recordings. When I do need to edit, I have the powerful Samsung AI which I’ll discuss in the review article which I’ll be doing soon as I’ve used the phone a bit more.
The battery is a 4900 mAh unit, supported by 45W wired charging and 15W wireless. Samsung has really worked on battery longevity and I’ve experience this on the Galaxy A56 where on days when I’m not heavily on phone, I easily go through a full day with one charge. Of course that is different when shooting long podcasts. I can’t wait to see how the S25 FE battery will be though I have no doubt I’m in for a good experience.

As mentioned, I will be doing a comprehensive review of the device along with the Samsung Watch 8 and Samsung Buds Core after I’ve interacted with them a bit further.
