Last week, OPPO launched the OPPO Find N3 series at the Theatre of Digital Arts in Dubai. My colleagues and I had the pleasure of attending the launch and witness the ushering in of the two very appealing devices in the series, which are the OPPO Find N3 Fold and OPPO Find N3 Flip. These are undeniably statement devices that will fit seamlessly into the life of users who want in on aesthetics, class, and high performance.
Riding aptly under the hashtag #FoldablesReimagined, OPPO has made breakthroughs in three areas that matter most to users – design, camera, and software.

We will be doing comprehensive reviews of the phones when they land in Kenya but in the meantime, here are some features that stand out.
In terms of design, the Find N3 series comes in as the thinnest and most durable so far, made with aviation grade materials for durability and to keep weight at a low. The OPPO Find N3 fold comes in a stunning champagne gold and classic black, with my favourite being the gold. The Find N3 Flip on the other hand is in a charming cream gold, sleek black and misty pink. I got to interact with the cream gold which would easily be my colour of choice.
With a foldable device, one obvious concern would be the crease. But OPPO has done an excellent job at minimizing this to near invisible. People also worry that the folding will wear out the phone but OPPO’s folding mechanism has undergone extensive testing so that the crease can withstand over one million folds.
Both phones ship out with Android 13 and OPPO’s Color OS 13.2, quite up to date and an assurance of performance, security, and customization. The Find N3 Flip runs on the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9200, ensuring exceptional speed and reliability with its 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The Find N3 Fold operates on a Qualcomm SM8550-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, boasting 512GB of internal storage and 12GB of RAM for powerful performance.
The OPPO Find N3 cameras are equipped with smart algorithms and signature Hasselblad color calibration. Hasselblad is a household name for superior lenses and imaging technologies and its partnership with OPPO puts near professional photography at the palms of our hands. Both cameras feature a beautiful cosmos ring design inspired by luxury watches, adding to the appeal of the phones. The Find N3 Flip’s main camera comes in at 50MP, supported by a 32MP telephoto Lense and 48MP ultrawide, while the Find N3 Fold has a 48MP main camera, 64MP telephoto and 48MP ultrawide.
