In a press statement, Infinix announced that the Infinix Smart 8 is available in Kenya in two variations 128GB with upto 8GB expandable RAM and 64+4.
The Infinix SMART 8 handset arrived with significant upgrades over the preceding model but at Ksh.15,999/-, it is still pocket friendly and a worthy purchase given the features that it comes with.
The Infinix Smart 8 comes with dual rear cameras and a quad flash. The three separate circular units are placed in the top left corner of the back panel on a rectangular camera module. The back cover will be textured, something I find gives phones a chic and classy feel and also ensures comfortable grip. The front camera is housed in a center-aligned hole-punch cutout at the top of the display.
Infinix Smart 8 sports a 6.6-inch HD+ Sunlight Readable display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a peak brightness level of 500 nits. These are great for regular uses, but also particularly gamers who will enjoy vivid renders and quick turnaround on commands. The phone supports USB Type-C connectivity and come with UFS 2.2 inbuilt storage. The company adds that the phone is the first in its segment to be equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
As mentioned earlier, the Infinix Smart 8 128+8 is priced at Ksh 15,999. Users have colour options of Timber Black, Shiny Gold, and Crystal Green colour options.
