HealthyU highlights clean, natural skincare products promoting holistic wellness, with eco-friendly, nutrient-rich ingredients.
When most people, including myself, think of Healthy U, their minds go straight to supplements, vitamins, and fitness products. And we are not necessarily wrong. Healthy U has built a strong reputation as a trusted source of authentic health and wellness products over the years, and an easy go-to for thousands of Kenyans.
But there’s a quieter gem that many people may not have taken advantage of yet and this is what we are highlighting in this article – natural products from natural nutrition to clean organic based skincare.
I joined the HealthyU team at Sarit Center over the weekend and got to learn about their thoughtfully curated selection of natural skincare products that go perfectly well with the brand’s philosophy of health and wellness. From natural soaps and body washes to nourishing face oils, these products are made with nature’s finest ingredients, offering us users a clean, conscious, and effective alternative to harsh skincare.
Why Go Natural With Your Skincare?
The skin is the body’s largest organ and what we apply matters a lot since a lot of skincare ingredients are absorbed into the body. Unlike synthetic skincare products, which often contain harsh chemicals, artificial fragrances, and preservatives, natural skincare products use ingredients derived from plants, minerals, and other earth-based sources. These are gentler on your skin and, in many cases, more effective over the long term.
The HealthyU team was kind enough to send me home with some products and I’ll document my first impressions and review after I’ve tried them out.
But first, why natural products?

No Nasties – One of the main fears that people have with skincare products is the presence of nasties like parabens, sulfates, and synthetic fragrances. These are very common culprits in skin reactions and hormone disruption.
My colleague and I visited the HealthyU stand at Sarit Center Food Court and later the shop downstairs and we got to learn a lot about what the popular wellness outlet has to offer. People with all skincare challenges are well catered for in the natural product range, be it dryness, acne, dullness, or people simply looking to maintain the glow.
There is something for everyone in products like hydrating serums, cleansers, face masks, body lotions and butters, beauty bars, sunscreen and lip balms to name a few.
Both at the activation and at the shop, we found knowledgeable staff members who took us through the products and also conducted free skincare analysis. This is very thoughtful of HealthyU because when it comes to skincare, a lot of people do not know their skin types, skin challenges and where to start with treatments.
For all of June, HealthyU is staging activations at Sarit Center for mall visitors to pass by and either kickstart their skincare journey or switch to natural products. Look out for the stand every Friday and Saturday.
