Carrot juice tastes nothing like you expect. It’s sweet, smooth and packed with nutrition. I love carrots because of their versatility. You can have them however you like. You can munch them raw in a salad, soup or juice them. There is no rule book when it comes to carrots!

Although orange colored Carrots are the most popular, you can find yellow, red, white and even purple carrots at markets around the world.

Packed with nutrition

Carrots are literally food avengers. They contain carotenoids which not only give them a yummy color but are also a rich source of Vitamin A, essential for immunity boost, eye health, lowering risk of chronic diseases like cancer, heart disease and surprisingly leaves you with silky smooth skin.(alleviates skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema)

When juiced, carrots retain all their nutrients which additionally help to balance blood sugar, fight inflammation, improve brain function and cleanse your kidneys. It’s no wonder carrots are the number ingredient in detox programs.

How to make carrot juice

There is no single recipe for carrot juice. You can have it plain or mix it up with other vegetables and even spice it up. Here are a few pointers.

Plain carrot juice

6-8 carrots. Blend in water to make 1 delicious glass of juice.

Carrot and parsley

Carrots and 5 leaves of parsley. Juice or blend them for the perfect detox.

Carrot and Apple juice

To get a thick glass of this perfect cleansing formula, juice 4 Carrots and 1 apple for the perfect deliciousness.

Carrot, beet root and spinach juice

4 carrots, half piece of beet root and 5 spinach leaves. Juice the mixture together and serve a colorful glass of juice at room temperature or cold.

Carrot and orange juice

You can sweeten your carrot juice by adding in some oranges. 5 carrots, 3 oranges make a nice sweet glass of juice.

You can also sweeten your carrot juices by adding sugar or mixing it up with sweet fruits like oranges, pineapple and mango. Fire up your juice with some spice like ginger, cinnamon and even pepper! Enjoy.
